Job summary

White Settlement ISD North STEAM Academy – Fort Worth, Texas, seeks a Dyslexia/Visual Impairment Instructional/Teacher Assistant to support students under a licensed teacher's direction. You will provide instruction to individuals or small groups, assist in materials prep, and help with testing and records.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, Para Professional Certification or Associate's degree (or two years of college), and a valid Texas education aide certificate.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to students under the direction of the teacher, individually or in small groups.
• Assist teacher with instructional materials and classroom displays.
• Help with administration and scoring of tests and with required reports.
• Support student management and supervision during school hours.
• Prepare and maintain classroom records and substitute teacher orientation.
