Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a Dyslexia Specialist to support students with reading challenges. You will deliver explicit, multisensory instruction and develop individualized support plans based on data and evaluations.

Collaborate with campus teams, participate in ARD and 504 processes, and ensure TEA-compliant documentation while promoting student growth and confidence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Education, or related field.
• Texas Educator Certification required; Dyslexia certification or TEA training preferred; MTA required.
• Knowledge of Texas dyslexia laws, IDEA and ARD; experience with dyslexia intervention.

Responsibilities

• Deliver explicit, multisensory Dyslexia Intervention aligned with Texas Dyslexia Handbook.
• Collaborate with campus teams to design targeted intervention plans based on data.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction to ensure effective interventions.
• Work with teachers, diagnosticians and families; participate in ARD meetings and 504.
• Maintain TEA-compliant documentation and align services with district/state requirements.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field

Texas Educator Certification
