Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking a Dyslexia Specialist to support students with reading challenges and help them build long-term literacy skills. You will deliver explicit, multisensory Dyslexia instruction and collaborate with campus teams to design targeted interventions.

Qualifications

• Texas educator certification required.
• Dyslexia certification or TEA-approved training preferred.
• MTA required.
• Knowledge of Texas dyslexia laws and TEA Handbook; familiarity with IDEA and ARD.

Responsibilities

• Provide Dyslexia intervention: explicit, multisensory instruction per Texas Dyslexia Handbook.
• Develop individualized support plans based on data and evaluations.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction.
• Collaborate with general and special education, diagnosticians, and families; participate in ARD/504 as appropriate.
• Ensure services align with TEA guidelines and district procedures.
• Support student growth by building reading skills and confidence.
