Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.

Responsibilities

• Provide TEKS based instruction to meet individual student IEP goals.
• Plan and supervise assignments for assigned paraprofessionals.
• Collaborate with students, parents, and other staff for IEP development.

Skills

Knowledge of instructional strategies appropriate for students with disabilities

Knowledge of Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) Committee process

General knowledge of curriculum and instruction

Effective classroom and behavior management

Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior

Education

Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college
