Job summary

Qualifications

• Active Texas Teaching Certification required.
• Texas Reading By Design Certification is a must.
• Bilingual candidates should have training in both Esperanza and Reading By Design.
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher or with dyslexia support is highly preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted dyslexia interventions to students, utilizing Reading By Design and other evidence-based strategies.
• Adapt and implement instructional materials to address a variety of learning needs.
• Maintain regular progress monitoring, data collection, and documentation for all students on your caseload.
• Collaborate with general and special education teachers, families, and related service providers to support student growth.
• Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
• Participate in professional development to stay current with best practices in dyslexia education and intervention.
