Job summary

Responsive Education Solutions seeks a Dyslexia Specialist/Teacher to lead the dyslexia intervention program for students. The role serves as a formative phonetics resource for reading fluency and early phonetic comprehension, working with diverse students and coordinating with the campus team.

The position emphasizes adherence to federal/state dyslexia laws, development of IEP-based services, and effective communication with families and staff to support student literacy growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university (preferably Special Education).
• Certification for EC-6 or 4-8 Generalist required for select positions.
• Dyslexia Certification and CALT preferred.
• 2+ years of dyslexia teaching experience in a public school (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of reading components across developmental stages.
• Collaborate with teachers and administrators to provide dyslexia accommodations.
• Ensure IEPs are properly written and implemented.
• Communicate with parents and staff to support dyslexia services.
