Job summary

Responsive Education Solutions, 064 - Founders Classical Academy (Grammar) of Corinth, TX, seeks a Dyslexia Specialist to manage the intervention program for dyslexia students and serve as a phonetics resource to improve reading fluency and early comprehension.

The role requires teaching experience in dyslexia, a Bachelor's in Education (preferably Special Education), and relevant certifications; CALT and Dyslexia Certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (preferably in Special Education).
• Valid EC-6 or 4-8 certification for select positions.
• Dyslexia Certification preferred.
• CALT (Certified Academic Language Therapist) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of reading across developmental stages and provide dyslexia instruction.
• Collaborate with general education to provide dyslexia accommodations and services.
• Ensure IEPs are properly written and implemented.
• Monitor student progress and use findings to improve dyslexia services.
• Plan resources and materials to support teachers of dyslexia services.
• Maintain open communication with parents, students, teachers and administrators.
• Assist with RTI process and school-wide literacy initiatives.
• Travel as required.
