Job summary

Dax Software Solutions Inc. is seeking a Functional Consultant (Manufacturing and Warehouse Management) in Woodland Hills, CA.

The role involves leading workshops, defining requirements, and guiding the design and deployment of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations solutions for manufacturing and warehouse processes. You will collaborate with clients to map business processes, perform fit-gap analyses, configure D365FO modules, and train users while ensuring alignment with SLA and

Qualifications

Master’s degree in CS/CE or related field with 4 years Dynamics AX solutions experience.
Alternatively, a Bachelor’s with 6 years Dynamics AX/D365FO design/implementation.
Minimum 5+ years Dynamics AX/D365 Finance implementation experience.
10+ years in industry or consulting.
Extensive experience in Manufacturing Procurement, Warehouse and Inventory Management.
Experience with 3rd party solutions to Dynamics 365/AX.
D365FO certification in manufacturing/warehouse.
Lean manufacturing experience preferred.
Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and ITIL/Agile practices.

Responsibilities

Facilitate workshops to gather business requirements and craft statements of work.
Lead requirements definition and solution design phases; guide build, test, deployment.
Document business processes and create functional design documents.
Configure Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations to match client needs.
Support testing and train users on the new system.
Provide ongoing support for managed and implementation customers.
Troubleshoot requests and manage cases per SLA.
Oversee D365FO Supply Chain and Warehouse Management implementations.
Apply advanced warehouse concepts (pick/pack/ship, barcoding, RFID).
Contribute to improving DAX project documentation assets.
