Job summary

Dax Software Solutions Inc. is seeking a Business Software Analyst to evaluate, design, and implement ERP software solutions aligned with business goals in Woodland, CA.

You will gather requirements, analyze processes, and translate them into functional specs for development teams. The role emphasizes implementing Dynamics 365 (D365FO) modules, designing configurations to meet business needs, and ensuring scalable, efficient software that supports stakeholders across IT and business units.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in MIS, Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience in business analysis or related roles.
• Proficiency in software analysis, design, and development methodologies.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC).
• Familiarity with business process modeling, data analysis, and requirements management tools.
• Experience with software testing, quality assurance, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document detailed business requirements from stakeholders.
• Analyze current business processes, identify gaps, and propose software solutions.
• Evaluate existing software systems and recommend improvements or new solutions.
• Translate requirements into functional specifications, user stories, or use cases.
