Job summary

PeopleCert is seeking a Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Functional Consultant to optimize our global ERP platform. You will partner with Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, HR, Sales and Operations to translate requirements into designs, configure F&O, and drive process improvements.

You'll work across modules, support HR processes, data migration, testing, training, and post-go-live support while aligning with Microsoft Copilot, AI capabilities, and Power Platform to boost productivity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience implementing or supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
• Experience gathering business requirements and designing ERP solutions.
• Experience working across Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement.
• Good understanding of integrations using Dataverse, APIs, and Power Platform.
• Hands-on experience with Power Platform including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power BI.

Responsibilities

PeopleCert is looking for a Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Functional Consultant to help optimize and evolve our global ERP platform. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders across Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Sales and Customer Operations to analyze business needs, design solutions, configure Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, and support continuous process improvement.

You will play a key role in delivering business transformation initiatives, ensuring our ERP platform supports operational excellence, scalability, compliance, and seamless integration with our wider Microsoft ecosystem, including Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, Power Platform, Azure services, and AI capabilities.

As a Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Functional Consultant, your tasks will be the following:

• Partner with business stakeholders to understand, analyse, document, and improve business processes across Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Human Resources, and Operations within Dynamics F&O.
• D365 F&O Translate business requirements into functional designs, process maps, user stories, and solution specifications.
• Configure Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations to support business processes while following Microsoft best practices and standard functionality.
• Work across multiple Finance & Operations modules with particular focus on Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Human Resources.
• Support HR business processes including employee lifecycle management, organizational structures, leave and absence, positions, compensation, approvals, and reporting.
• Participate in ERP implementation, enhancement, rollout, upgrade, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support integrations between Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, ensuring seamless customer, financial, and operational processes.
• Collaborate with developers to define technical requirements for extensions, integrations, reports, workflows, automation, and customizations.
• Support integrations with Power Platform, Azure services, reporting platforms, Sitecore, and other enterprise applications.
• Perform functional testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression testing, and production validation.
• Support data migration activities including validation, cleansing, reconciliation, and cutover planning.
• Deliver user training, prepare documentation, and provide post-go-live support.
• Work with Product Owners and Project Managers to prioritize enhancements and manage delivery backlogs.
• Identify opportunities to leverage Microsoft Copilot, AI capabilities, and intelligent automation to improve productivity, business processes, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
• Stay current with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, AI, Copilot, and ERP best practices and recommend improvements.

What we look for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of experience implementing or supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or Microsoft Dynamics AX.
• Strong functional knowledge in several of the following areas: Finance/ General Ledger/ Accounts Payable/ Accounts Receivable/ Procurement & Sourcing/ Inventory Management/ Supply Chain Management/ Human Resources/ Fixed Assets/ Project Operations
• Experience gathering business requirements and designing ERP solutions.
• Experience working with Dynamics 365 Human Resources functionality.
• Experience working across Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement.
• Good understanding of integrations using Dual-write, Dataverse, Business Events, Data Entities, APIs, and Power Platform.
• Hands-on experience with Power Platform including Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power BI would be considered an advantage.
• Understanding of ERP implementation methodologies and business process optimization.
• Demonstrated interest in applying Artificial Intelligence technologies, including Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, AI Builder, Azure AI Services, or similar solutions to improve business processes and user productivity.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile delivery teams.
• Excellent knowledge of English (C2 level certification desired; LanguageCert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL certificate would be considered a plus).
• Advanced computer literacy is required. ECDL Advanced level certification is desirable.

• Experience with D365 Sales Hub module.

Working on Home Office (HO) Secure English Language Tests (SELTs)

Any person who is engaged by PeopleCert to work on the SELT service must undergo a Background Check (the results of which must be acceptable to PeopleCert and the HO) prior to commencing their SELT duties. All SELT personnel will be required to complete a declaration (provided by PeopleCert) where the existence of any criminal record and/or bankruptcy must be declared.

If working on the SELT service in the UK, background checks will include:

• A basic or enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check

• Right to Work in the UK check (including nationality, identity and place of residence)

• HO security check (Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) or Counter Terrorist Check (CTC)

• Financial background check

• Employment reference check.

• If working on the SELT service anywhere in the world (outside of the UK) personnel will undergo background checks that are equivalent to those stated for the UK.

In addition, if personnel are required to speak to SELT candidates they must be appropriately skilled in English language and, where SELT services are provided anywhere in the world (outside of the UK), the official language of the relevant country.
