Job summary

Briess Industries in Chilton, WI is seeking an ERP & Business Process Specialist to support the IT and ERP Senior Manager with Dynamics 365 Business Central and Aptean Food & Beverage. You will be the daily contact for ERP issues across Purchasing, Sales, Production, Quality, Planning and Finance, helping design improved processes and implementing them in the ERP with strong data governance.

Qualifications

Degree in Information Technology, MIS, Business, Accounting, Supply Chain or related field.
Strong proficiency with business systems and Microsoft applications.
Analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, able to translate technical concepts for non-technical users.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Working knowledge of SQL, relational databases and data modeling.
Experience with a manufacturing ERP, ideally Dynamics 365 Business Central in a food/process environment.
Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps and DAX preferred.
Experience documenting and improving business processes including SOPs and process maps.
Experience leading training and change management across departments.

Responsibilities

Learn existing functionality across ERP modules with emphasis on operations.
Evaluate new functionality and propose process improvements based on value, effort, and control impact.
Document Briess business processes and design improved workflows integrated in the ERP.
Lead requirements sessions and manage testing, defect tracking and user acceptance.
Support user setup, licensing, and permissions; respond to daily questions to minimize disruptions.
Assist with scoping, testing, deployment and maintenance of configurations and extensions.
Design and enforce controls via the ERP, enhance master data governance and reporting.
Coordinate monthly SaaS upgrade activities, testing and training for new features.
Create and maintain user documentation and SOPs; ensure knowledge is shared across teams.
Support APIs and integrations across Business Central, CRM, TMS, EAM and Power Platform.
