Job summary

TAPCO seeks an IT ERP Manager to own and enhance seven Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP instances across multiple entities. You will direct project delivery, design configurations for manufacturing and MRP, and manage vendors and an ERP team to achieve measurable improvements.

The role combines hands-on ERP leadership with stakeholder management and a focus on aligning the platform with best practices in a complex business environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, MIS, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years ERP experience in manufacturing, incl. 3+ years with D365 BC.
• Experience leading ERP projects from requirements to support.
• Experience with IT Incident, Problem and Change Management.
• Experience managing ERP team and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Own the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP platform and related applications and data integrations, ensuring system stability and availability.
• Provide ERP design and configuration for manufacturing operations, supply chain planning, MRP, inventory, purchasing, sales orders, shipments, invoicing, accounting processes and internal controls
• Lead ERP-related projects and enhancements from request through delivery, ensuring scope, timeline, adoption, and business outcomes are achieved
• Manage stakeholder relationships; translate business priorities into practical ERP solutions and clear delivery plans
• Lead, manage, and prioritize work for a small ERP team and manage ERP vendors and third-party solution partners to drive improvements and deliver results
• Analyze and understand existing system configurations and customizations; identify opportunities to reduce complexity, improve maintainability, and align to Business Central best practices
• Performs other duties as assigned
