Job summary

Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta is seeking a Program Instructor in Newnan, GA to plan and implement our youth-focused programs across core areas.

You will prepare youth for success, supervise staff and volunteers, monitor safety, and help provide a positive learning environment through engaging activities and community partnerships. Strong communication skills and dedication to youth development are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED completed.
• At least three years of experience working with youth or in youth development.
• Experience teaching youth and creating engaging learning experiences.
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
• Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior problems.
• Ability to work with the general public and organize safe activities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare youth for success by facilitating learning and development.
• Implement, monitor and evaluate youth programs and activities.
• Supervise and train volunteers and program assistants.
• Maintain records and ensure safety and order in program areas.
• Order supplies and manage facility needs within budget.
