Job summary

ScottsMiracle-Gro is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for our Marysville, OH distribution center to lead shift operations and coordinate with packaging and transportation teams. The role focuses on on-time distribution of raw materials and finished goods while controlling costs in a fast-paced, seasonal environment.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in a related field, 5+ years in warehouse supervision, strong SAP experience, and proven leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or related study preferred.
• At least 5 years experience in warehouse supervision or supervision in a production environment.
• Understanding of distribution, transportation, inventory control, and freight routing.
• Computer skills including Google Suite, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access.
• Strong leadership and communication with good time management.
• Ability to adapt to seasonal schedules, including weekends.
• SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations within the Marysville Distribution Center.
• Ensure customer shipping schedule is obtained and managed.
• Direct distribution associates to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with packaging to ensure high product quality and uptime.
• Use SAP to monitor inventory and quality; make adjustments as required.
• Train and develop associates in surge and loading procedures and customer requirements.
• Enforce Scotts Miracle-Gro policies and procedures.
• Maintain safe and compliant work area.
• Monitor and order services or supplies as needed.
• Manage overtime based on manpower and budget.
• Coordinate with returns coordinator on processing returned products.
• Set and maintain high housekeeping standards.
