Job summary

Capital Electric is hiring a Receiving Associate for our Charlotte, NC location. You will be responsible for correctly receiving material, stocking it with care, and preparing products for pickup and shipment to customers.

Key duties include dock loading/unloading, RF scanning, and operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment. We value reliability, attention to detail, and strong communication as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years operating a sit-down, stand-up or cherry picker forklift.
• Detail-oriented with accurate input and record-keeping.
• Good math, verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Organize and transport freight on the dock; load/unload trailers without damaging products.
• Receive large boxes on the warehouse dock; handle UPS/FedEx processes.
• Scan products with RF scanner and input data into computer.
• Break down cases and operate equipment to replenish warehouse stock.
• Scan and tote pallets for put-away; drive material handling equipment as required.
