Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative for our client’s busy team at a Welkom distribution hub. You will handle receiving, picking, packing, stocking, and maintaining an organized warehouse environment to support timely dispatch of orders.

Key responsibilities include processing inventory, stocking shelves, operating pallet jacks or forklifts if trained, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. A strong work ethic and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25 kg.
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and process incoming inventory accurately.
• Pick and pack customer orders with speed and precision.
• Stock and replenish inventory on warehouse shelves and designated areas.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if trained and certified).
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse floor and storage areas.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock takes as required.
