Michigan Online School (MOS) is a K-12 tuition-free online public school in Michigan. We are seeking teachers to create a rigorous, nurturing classroom environment prioritizing student learning and social-emotional development.

All instruction occurs virtually, with travel and in-person attendance required several times per year for state testing and events. Open to candidates in Michigan and related licensure requirements.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Michigan teaching license.
• Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards.
• Must pass federal and state background checks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the teacher of record.
• Deliver live lessons via web conference.
• Complete course setup in the LMS for each course.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback daily.
• Track and maintain contact with each student and families.
• Travel to support required face-to-face state testing annually.
