Michigan Online School (MOS) is a K-12 tuition-free online public school in Michigan. ACCEL Schools uses a cutting-edge curriculum and online tools to support student learning at home, at proper levels, and at each pace. Travel for state testing and events is required several times per year.

We are seeking teachers who are excited to create a rigorous, nurturing environment prioritizing student learning and social-emotional development. Open to Michigan residents.

Qualifications

• Masters degree preferred.
• Three years of teaching experience, at least 2 in special education.
• Current Michigan certification/licensure in appropriate area.
• Strong content knowledge and familiarity with MTSS processes.
• Ability to learn new technologies and collaborate with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementation of IEPs for each student.
• Write IEPs in a timely manner.
• Participate in MTSS and coordinate with related services.
• Maintain student records according to laws and school policy.
• Prepare progress reports and required paperwork.
• Deliver instruction 1:1, in small groups, or full class sessions.
• Administer assessments and contribute to state testing.
