Job summary

Murphy-Hoffman Company is seeking a Used Truck Salesperson for our MHC Kenworth-Little Rock location. The role focuses on calling on prospective customers, managing assigned accounts, and developing strategies to win orders within the Little Rock, AR area.

The candidate should have direct sales experience in trucks or related equipment, strong communication skills, and a proactive, high-energy attitude. CDL is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of company's services, products and marketing techniques.
• Direct sales or truck sales experience preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• High energy level and positive attitude.
• CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Calls on prospective customers and assigned accounts within territory and aggressive telephone marketing.
• Maintains contacts with customers regarding their requirements; stays updated on market trends.
• Identifies and profiles prospective customers, develops strategy to obtain orders.
• Makes company services available to customers.
• Refers complaints and leads to appropriate department managers.
• Reports on competitive activity.
• Keeps records and reports on all activities.
• Writes Used Truck appraisals in the absence of the Used Truck Manager.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
