Job summary

First National Bank Alaska is seeking a Universal Teller I for the Sitka Branch. This role handles customer transactions, promotes bank products, and ensures accurate cash handling. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:45am–5:45pm, with a $21.00/hour minimum plus a 10% differential.

The position emphasizes exceptional customer service, compliance with bank policies, and maintaining cash accuracy. Experience in teller tasks or related customer service with cash handling is preferred for FNBA candidates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months Teller experience; or one year customer service and 6 months cash handling experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to exercise discretion and good judgment.
• Ability to read, interpret documents and follow bank policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Process financial transactions accurately following established procedures.
• Maintain balanced cash drawer and cash recyclers; balance ATM as needed.
• Promote bank products/services to meet customers' banking needs and cross-sell where appropriate.
• Adhere to regulatory requirements and maintain confidentiality of customer information.
