ARMStaffing is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapist in Silver Spring, MD to evaluate patients and develop/modify treatment plans under physician direction. The role includes education, supervision of students, and ensuring licensure compliance as part of a dynamic ambulatory care team.

The schedule is M-F with two shifts (7 AM–4 PM or 10 AM–7 PM), totaling 36 hours weekly. Involves travel and a 13-week contract with potential stipends and benefits.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• Minimum of 2 years of outpatient clinical experience.
• CPR certification.
• Active licensure for the State where work will be performed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients.
• Utilize clinical reasoning to develop appropriate treatment plans and goals.
• Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner.
• Ensure care is provided under signed, valid physician orders and within insurance approval.
• Participate in the student program, providing a positive learning environment.
• Create and actively manage an individualized professional development plan.
• Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Acts and maintain professional licensure.
• Understand and apply the organization’s performance improvement methodology.
