Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited institution.
• CAPTE Certification is required.
• CPR Certification is required.
• Active license for the state of work is required.

Responsibilities

• Implements treatment goals and therapeutic interventions.
• Assists with posture training, strengthening, balance, gait training.
• Uses modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Trains patients with orthotics and assistive devices.
• Documents patient progress and maintains a safe environment.
