Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• 30-Day Substitute Permit or CBEST eligibility is required or eligible.
• Fingerprinting and TB clearance required.
• Previous teacher assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lesson materials and resources before classes.
• Assist teacher with classroom activities and individualized help.
• Keep track of student progress and attendance.
• Assist in grading tests and assignments.
• Help maintain classroom discipline.
• Supervise students during school events or field trips.
• Lead instruction when the teacher is absent.
• Support pull-in and pull-out intervention services.
• Communicate effectively with staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Set up equipment for virtual classrooms or presentations.
• Maintain a safe classroom environment following health and safety protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
