Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Current CPR and AED certifications.
• Nationally recognized group exercise certification.
• Pass a criminal background check.
• Ongoing progress toward YMCA Leader Certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, engaging, and effective group exercise sessions tailored to participants' skill levels.
• Demonstrate and clearly explain proper techniques and fitness concepts.
• Ensure the safety and enjoyment of all participants during classes.
• Arrive prepared with necessary equipment and attire.
• Provide individual feedback within the group setting.
