Qualifications

• Education Level

• Knowledge of MA Curriculum frameworks, curriculum, instruction, and assessment
• Knowledge of differentiated instruction and response to intervention helpful
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required

Responsibilities

• Plan and assess curriculum and instruction.
• Meets and instructs assigned students in the locations and at the time designated.
• Plans a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of the students.
• Responsible for effective instruction including clear learning goals and appropriate instructional techniques.
• Use innovative approaches and instructional strategies, including technology, to increase student learning.
• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and aligned with student needs.
• Promote high standards and expectations for achievement and behavior.
• Guide learning toward achievement of curriculum standards and establish clear objectives for lessons and projects.
• Implements the district's mission and instructional standards.
• Assess and document student progress and provide progress reports.
• Document learning problems and seek district specialist assistance as required.
