Job summary

McLaren Health Care in Michigan is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide patient care across speech, language, fluency, voice, swallowing and cognitive disorders. You will assess needs, develop an plan, implement interventions, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the care team to maintain high standards of practice.

Requires CCC or CFY, current state licensure, and BLS. Preference for one year of experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program of speech-language pathology.
• Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) or CFY eligibility with CCC completion within three months.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessment and treatment for speech deficits and disorders.
• Establishes an individualized care plan and selects interventions.
• Reassesses patient progress and manages discharge planning.
• Documents thoroughly within required timeframes.
• Educates patients and families and coordinates with the health care team.
