Job summary

Encore Rehabilitation, Inc. in Mobile, AL seeks a Staff Speech-Language Pathologist to provide quality speech and dysphagia evaluations and treatments under the Clinical Director.

Identify, assess and treat individuals of all ages with communication and swallowing disorders; participate in department operations and documentation. Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, progress documentation, discharge summaries, and collaborating with physicians, families, and care teams.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology with CCC-SLP certification and state license.
• Clinical fellowship year preferred or will be supervised by a CCC-SLP.
• Experience evaluating and treating communication and swallowing disorders.

Responsibilities

• Screen, identify, assess and rehabilitate disorders of speech, language, and articulation.
• Screen, assess and rehabilitate oropharyngeal and dysphagia disorders.
• Develop and implement augmentative and alternative communication systems; train users.
• Maintain clinical documentation including evaluation, treatment plans and discharge summaries.
• Collaborate with physicians, families and staff; participate in department operations.
