Job summary

PACS is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to supervise CFY- SLPA and deliver therapy per physician plans. The role includes documenting evaluations and progress, and coordinating with families and nursing staff.

The incumbent will ensure compliance with state practice acts and facility policies while leading training for staff and contributing to care conferences and program development.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology; Masters/Doctorate preferred.
• State licensure as Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Proficient with Casamba and Point Click Care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients within 24 hours, or 1 business day of referral.
• Develop effective treatment plans and obtain approval from referring physician.
• Supervise CFY – Speech Language Pathologist Assistants in direct patient care.
• Record evaluations, daily treatment notes, weekly progress notes, and recertifications.
• Participate in discharge planning and caregiver training for discharge.
• Comply with state practice acts and facility policies.
