Job summary

Anne Arundel County Public Schools (AACPS) seeks a Technician: Special Education Instructional Support to provide services to students in their current environment. You will support, train and consult with teachers and IEP teams, implementing instructional and behavioral plans.

Daily travel across the county is required during normal school hours. You will collaborate with classroom staff, collect and analyze student progress data, develop materials, and attend meetings to support student

Qualifications

• Associate degree or relevant coursework; equivalent mix acceptable.
• Experience or coursework in education and behavioral supports.
• Ability to train staff and support IEP teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing instructional programs and activities.
• Train staff on therapeutic techniques and strategies.
• Collect, maintain, and analyze data on student progress.
• Travel between schools to provide services during normal hours.
