Tennies ACE Hardware in West Bend, WI is seeking a dynamic Parts Counter Specialist for small engines. You will help customers locate parts, use Parts Smart software, and grow skills in sales, parts management, and service documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• 1-3 years of over-the-counter sales experience preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of small engines or mechanical repair is a plus.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and work independently or as a team.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in locating and purchasing small engine parts using Parts Smart software.
• Order and manage parts inventory with approval from the Parts Manager.
• Maintain positive relationships with coworkers and customers.
• Document service and repair details accurately in the work order system.
• Lead by example and support team members with company policies and procedures.
• Keep your work area clean and safe.
• Follow all safety policies and perform additional tasks as assigned.
