Job summary

HKA Enterprises in Blythewood, SC is seeking an experienced Shipping Coordinator to support daily shipping operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will coordinate outbound shipments, prepare documentation, schedule carriers, and track deliveries while collaborating with warehouse, customer service, production, and transportation teams.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of shipping or logistics experience, strong data-entry skills, and proficiency with ERP/WMS systems.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
1–3 years of shipping, logistics, transportation, or manufacturing experience preferred.
Experience coordinating freight or carrier pickups.
Strong computer skills and experience working with an ERP, shipping, or warehouse management system.
Ability to accurately enter and maintain data.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet shipping deadlines.
Ability to work effectively with warehouse, production, customer service, and transportation teams.

Responsibilities

Coordinate daily outbound shipments and ensure orders are shipped accurately and on schedule.
Schedule pickups with freight carriers, trucking companies, and parcel carriers.
Prepare bills of lading, packing lists, shipping labels, and other required documentation.
Verify shipment quantities, weights, dimensions, addresses, and delivery requirements.
Enter and maintain accurate shipping information in the company’s ERP/shipping system.
Track shipments and communicate delivery updates, delays, or issues.
Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure orders are properly picked, packed, labeled, and staged.
Work with internal departments to resolve shipping discrepancies and customer delivery issues.
Assist with LTL, parcel, and freight shipments.
Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation.
Assist with resolving damaged shipments, shortages, and transportation-related issues.
Follow company safety procedures and shipping policies.
Support continuous improvement of shipping processes and efficiency.
Perform other duties as assigned.
