Job summary

Black Bear Diners is seeking a friendly, attentive Server to provide prompt, individualized service that makes guests feel welcome. You will greet guests, take food and beverage orders, enter them into our POS system, and ensure orders are delivered in a timely manner.

The role requires patience, a good sense of humor, the ability to multi-task, and calm composure during busy periods. Flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays are available to fit your schedule.

Qualifications

• Must greet guests warmly and make them feel comfortable.
• Knowledge of dining room procedures and POS operations.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle money.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders from guests and enter them into the POS system.
• Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely manner.
• Run food orders from the pickup window as needed.
• Pre-bus tables and maintain clean service areas.
• Monitor guest dining experience and respond promptly to requests.
• Prepare bills and present checks at appropriate times.
• Assist fellow servers as needed to ensure smooth operation.
