Job summary

Black Bear Diners in Bend, Oregon is seeking friendly servers to join our team. As a server you will greet guests, take orders, deliver meals, and help create a welcoming dining experience that encourages guests to return.

You will work as part of a family-friendly team, handle POS transactions, maintain clean service areas, and adapt to busy periods with patience, humor, and enthusiasm.

Qualifications

• Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle money on a POS system.
• Comfort with rapid, high-volume service and staying calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide prompt service.
• Take food and beverage orders and enter into POS system.
• Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner and monitor guest satisfaction.
• Maintain clean service areas and assist fellow servers as needed.
• Prepare bills and present checks at appropriate times.
