Job summary

Home Run Inn Pizza in Chicago is seeking a Server/Bartender to create an exceptional dining experience. You will take orders, serve guests, and prepare beverages while maintaining a welcoming environment.

The role requires 21+ to pour alcohol, prior serving/bartending experience preferred, and strong teamwork and communication. Flexible shifts include evenings and weekends with opportunities to advance within a long-standing Chicago staple.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old to pour and serve alcohol.
• Previous serving and/or bartending experience in a restaurant setting preferred.
• Strong communication, multitasking, customer service, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and interact with guests in a friendly, welcoming manner.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and deliver them in a timely manner.
• Present menus, answer guest questions, and make recommendations about food and beverages.
• Actively suggest menu items, specials, and upcoming events.
• Relay orders to the kitchen and serve food and beverages from the kitchen and service bars.
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar, service station, and guest areas.
• Operate the POS system and accurately process guest payments.
• Complete opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned.
