Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution.
• Certified by the State of Alabama in the appropriate area.
• Must meet background clearance requirements as specified by Alabama Statutes and State Board of Education regulations.

Responsibilities

• Create or select long-range plans based on district priorities and instructional needs.
• Define goals and objectives for unit and daily plans.
• Sequence content and activities appropriately.
• Identify specific learning outcomes that are challenging and measurable.
• Revise plans based on student needs.
• Plan varied learning activities considering culture, learning styles and special needs.
• Develop instructional activities that foster active student involvement.
• Plan and prepare lessons aligned with the school improvement plan.
