Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with endorsements or required training.
• Demonstrated competency in the core subject area assigned.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• At least one year student teaching or approved internship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning styles.
• Present subject matter according to TEA guidelines and district policies.
• Plan and use instructional materials and equipment reflecting student needs.
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Supervise teacher aides and volunteers as assigned.
• Incorporate technology to enhance the teaching/learning process.
• Establish and maintain conferences with parents and staff.
• Participate in staff development and comply with school regulations.
