Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a Weather Sealing Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to advance sealing systems for vehicle programs. You will develop ESOW, participate in sourcing reviews, lead design reviews with sealing suppliers, and ensure system design specs are met.

Hybrid work arrangement is available; travel may be required. The role requires a BSME or related degree and hands-on experience with Catia v6/3DX, AVBOM, DFMEA, and DVP&R testing.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience minimum in elastomers, weather sealing systems and vehicle integration.
• In-depth experience in product design and analysis to optimize sealing energy and manufacturing processes.
• Develop ESOW and participate in sourcing reviews (SOBA, ED&T, piece price, tooling cost).
• Lead design reviews with sealing suppliers and sign off on eCAD with GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support sealing system design reviews to meet specifications.
• Develop Engineering Concepts and ESOW for program milestones.
• Sign off on DVP&R tests and confirm compliance with system specifications.
