Job summary

Tuopu USA seeks an experienced Automotive Weatherstrip Profile Design Engineer to lead the development, section optimization, and vehicle integration of door-frame sealing systems. This role focuses on EPDM/TPV co-extruded profiles, molded corner-joint design, and end-to-end ownership from concept through SOP.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with EV sealing programs and CATIA or NX proficiency, plus familiarity with CLD tuning, DFMEA, and PPAP processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive sealing-system design for Tier-1 suppliers.
• Proven molded corner-joint design capability for multi-section weatherstrips.
• Familiarity with EPDM/TPV materials and co-extrusion processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize EPDM/TPV cross-sections for door-frame and body seals.
• Develop corner and joint geometry with lip transitions for seal continuity.
• Run seal compression simulations and validate through vehicle-level testing.
