Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant for the current school year in the Philadelphia area. This full-time contract focuses on early intervention within a collaborative school setting, delivering IEP-aligned therapy and supporting growth for children.

The role emphasizes teamwork with teachers and families, with opportunities for ongoing mentorship and professional development in a dynamic, student-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or associate's degree for SLPA.
• Valid Pennsylvania state license/certification (SLP-CCC or SLPA).
• Experience with pediatric and school populations preferred.
• Knowledge of IEP planning, implementation, and compliance with school procedures.
• Strong interpersonal skills to work with students, teachers, families.
• Commitment to fostering growth and confidence in children with communication disorders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct therapy to students per IEPs.
• Assess speech, language, and communication abilities to craft intervention strategies.
• Develop and update progress reports and participate in IEP meetings.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and staff to support student goals.
• Provide early intervention services targeting foundational communication skills.
• Create engaging, supportive learning environments for diverse student needs.
