Job summary

PediaStaff is seeking a School-Based Occupational Therapist to support K-8 students across multiple campuses in Dearborn, Michigan. The role combines direct therapy with consultative services to help students develop functional, sensory, motor, and self-regulation skills in the educational setting.

The position runs full-time, daytime hours (approximately 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM), with a caseload of about 50 students across three buildings.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan Occupational Therapist license required.
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage a multi-site caseload and work with educational teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in IEP meetings and progress reporting.
• Provide consultative services to staff and educational teams.
• Support student access to the curriculum through accommodations and assistive strategies.
• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation.
