AHS Staffing is seeking a travel School Occupational Therapist for Dearborn, Michigan, supporting a K-8 caseload across three school sites with a mix of direct and consultative services. You will collaborate with teachers, families, and education teams to implement goals and IEP-based plans.

The position offers a full-time daytime schedule (approximately 8:30 AM–3:30 PM) with a 13-week travel assignment and a 50-student caseload, including about 20 consultative students.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan Occupational Therapist license.
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage a multi-site caseload and work effectively with educational teams.

Responsabilités

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in IEP meetings and progress reporting.
• Provide consultative services to staff and educational teams.
• Support student access to the curriculum through accommodations, adaptations, and assistive strategies.
• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation.
