Job summary

Catalyst Family is seeking an Associate Teacher to support planning and implementation of programming for children ranging from infant to school age, depending on location. You will facilitate developmentally appropriate activities and support social-emotional development in a safe, healthy environment.

Join a collaborative team, engage with families, and help deliver high-quality programs while meeting center needs and state requirements. Full-time schedule with weekday hours is typical.

Qualifications

• 12-24 postsecondary semester or equivalent quarter units in ECE, CD, or related field with passing grades of C- or better.
• Associate Teacher Permit or above issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum connected to children's interests and promote positive development.
• Create, implement, and maintain enriched, supportive environments and age-appropriate learning experiences.
• Provide excellent customer service by establishing authentic, culturally responsive relationships with children, families, schools, communities, and center team.
• Keep children healthy and safe by ensuring supervision, positive interactions, healthy habits, and compliance.
• Collaborate with fellow staff to deliver high-quality programs and a positive workplace.
