Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking high-energy Sales Representatives to join our team and drive growth in the Indianapolis area with a focus on prospecting, relationship development, and value-based selling. The role collaborates with manufacturing, customer service, and quality teams to sell corrugated packaging solutions.

The position offers a compensation structure plus commission and will be located primarily in Indianapolis, IN.

Qualifications

• Outside selling experience or related experience or a college degree.
• Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and ability to drive.
• Able to load and unload samples from vehicle.
• College degree preferred in graphics, packaging, sales or business.

Responsibilities

• Keep an updated and accurate list of prospects and accounts.
• Analyze and qualify prospective accounts.
• Conduct initial contact and sales calls to accounts, selling and establishing relationships to produce first time and repeat business.
• Surpass sales quotas for your area of responsibility.
• Implement sales strategies.
• Create and maintain customer and prospective relationships.
• Manage and close new sales.
• Price and prepare value proposals.
• Manage working capital and improve cash flow.
• Collaborate with plant management and fellow sales associates.
• Travel as necessary to cover territory and fulfill responsibilities.
• Monitor competitive activity in the area.
