Genesis Administrative Services LLC's Abbotts Creek Center is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator, RN to lead and educate nursing staff, orient new hires, and ensure high-quality patient care in a long-term care setting.

The role requires an RN license and LTC experience, with emphasis on adult learning and ongoing staff education. This is a collaborative, growth-focused position within a supportive team dedicated to resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with current RN license.
• Minimum three years full-time or equivalent clinical experience preferred.
• Two years of clinical experience in long-term care nursing with one year as an educator preferred.
• Excellence in clinical nursing skills required.
• Experience in Gerontology preferred.
• Training and/or experience in adult learning preferred.

Responsibilities

• Orient and educate all nursing personnel in the nursing center to ensure safe, effective care according to guidelines.
• Develop education programs in response to staff needs and teach current nursing center practices.
• Supervise and monitor new nursing employees through orientation.
• Perform annual competency testing and evaluate nursing staff performance for education needs.
• Provide oversight to Employee Health Program including TB/hepatitis vaccines and influenza immunizations tracking.
