Verizon is hiring for an entry-to-mid level retail sales position at a New York worksite. You will generate retail sales by blending a passion for cutting-edge technology with exceptional customer service, uncovering customer needs, and presenting full top-down solutions.

You’ll close deals with strong communication and continuously grow through training and merchandising responsibilities. The role offers base pay in a competitive hourly range with substantial commissions based on performance,

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
One or more years of relevant experience required.
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Openness to pick up additional shifts and earn more income.
Experience in commission-based environment is a plus.
Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers.
Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Generate retail sales by using your passion for cutting-edge technology and exceptional customer service to expand the Verizon network.
Learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking the right questions.
Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete top-down sales solution.
Close sales by using communication skills to fulfill customer needs with simple tech solutions.
Continuously develop yourself through ongoing training and up-skill in merchandising and inventory.
Grow your customer base by outbound calls and texts to current Verizon customers.
Engage with the community at Verizon events to expand the loyal customer base.
