Job summary

Kirkland's Home is seeking a Sales Associate to provide an exceptional shopping experience following our customer service model. You will assist with sales, cashiering, replenishment, floor sets, and merchandising under management direction.

You will engage customers, promote loyalty programs, and help maintain accurate pricing and inventory while delivering friendly, attentive service on the sales floor and at checkout.

Qualifications

• Energetic, people- and results-oriented with a drive to succeed.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
• Availability to work weekends, holidays and evenings.
• Flexible schedule to meet store needs.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must be able to ascend/descend a ladder and stock merchandise.
• Must be able to stand and move around the store for extended periods.
• Must be able to move merchandise 50 pounds or more when needed.

Responsibilities

• Supports and values Customer Service in both in-store and online shopping experiences.
• Actively engages with customers modeling exceptional selling behaviors.
• Greets every customer with enthusiasm and maintains a positive attitude.
• Educates customers on loyalty programs, promotions and merchandise to build the basket.
• Maintains merchandising presentation, pricing and inventory accuracy.
• Assists in operations such as receiving merchandise safely and stockroom organization.

• Performs other duties as necessary.
