Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a motivated Store Associate to be the primary point of contact for customers, help set and maintain plan-o-grams, stock merchandise, build displays, and ensure shelves are clean and well presented on the sales floor.

You will unload trucks, receive shipments, rotate stock, assist shoppers in locating merchandise, operate the cash register, bag items, and process payments accurately.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandising guidance.
• Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise.
• Receive, open and unpack cartons; stock on shelves or floor.
• Build and rotate merchandise displays.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise.
• Operate cash register and process payments.
• Keep store clean and organized; front-end setup when needed.
