Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Sales Associate to serve as a point of contact for customers, assist with locating and purchasing merchandise, operate the cash register, stock and display merchandise, and keep the store clean. The role includes greeting customers, processing transactions, following plan-o-gram guidance, and adhering to safety and cash-handling procedures.

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service, greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total customer's purchase, collect payment and make change, bag merchandise.
• Follow company merchandise processes; unpack, stock, restock, and rotate merchandise on shelves and build displays.
• Clean the store, take out trash, dust and mop floors, and help set up sidewalk displays.
