Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months to 1 year experience in a retail customer service environment.
• Ability to bend, lift, and move continuously through the day.
• Two-person lifting of some heavy objects may be required.
• Good verbal communication skills with ability to effectively work as a team to achieve mission goals.
• For positions that require driving, must maintain a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance coverage, and be able to travel as needed if you drive your vehicle during company business.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to donors and customers at the donation station, greet, issue donor receipts, and sort donated goods.
• Load, unload and move donated goods and furniture using a hand truck to maintain workflow.
• Restock supplies by walking stations to identify boxes, barrels, and containers.
• Sort and price donated items, monitor production levels, and tag and place products on shelves per guidelines.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas, report safety hazards, and uphold housekeeping standards.
• Adhere to loss prevention and inventory control procedures and maintain regular attendance.
• Support team members and protect company property; comply with ethics and reporting procedures for any misconduct.
