Job summary

Ohio Valley Goodwill Industries Rehabilitation Center, Inc. in Lawrenceburg, IN is seeking a Retail Merchandise Processor to join our fast-paced team.

You will assist with receiving, sorting, pricing, and processing donated merchandise for display in our Goodwill store, supporting production and retail operations in a non-supervisory role. The position requires handling donations, maintaining inventory, and delivering friendly, engaging customer service while upholding safety and store policies.

Qualifications

• Six months of previous work experience or the equivalent educational/vocational experience preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to problem solve and provide exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Sort and process merchandise from containers to determine suitability for the sales floor.
• Stock and roll merchandise onto sales floor in an organized manner.
• Record and monitor donations accurately and in a timely fashion.
• Maintain awareness of brand name, designer labels, and current styles; sort into categories.
• Adhere to safety and security practices and report hazards to the manager on duty.
• Provide exceptional customer service to donors and customers during interactions.
